Roush Racing's Grand Am cars were the first to have them that I know of...in either 2012 or 2013, when I was with the team. I think it was after the rainy race at Homestead in 2012 when everyone had so much trouble with fogging that they came up with the idea of electric defrosters in the front windshield. As I recall, we (Roush) were the only ones to have them for a while...then others noticed and decided it was a good idea and put them in their cars too.I don't recall seeing heated front glass before on Grand Am cars. Anyone know if this is new for 2015? Seems like a great weight saver over hauling around blower/ducting. Racing in the rain sucks when you can't see.
No. Still a model. You're not fooling anyone.Could this be her ?
http://www.aerocatch.com/Must get hood locks and tow hook. Lol
They switched to a retro early 70's Grand Am small block ford V8 after the officials said track times where too quick with the 5.2L FPC and new suspension setup. They had a choice between adding weight or decreasing power.IKR, it sounds Nascar good, but not like any flat crank V8 I have ever heard. I was expecting at least the tuneful melody of a GT40 with that bundle of snakes exhaust crossover...
I sure hope not, because the GT350 was lapped a couple for times by Porsche... Probably getting some bugs worked out, or do not want anyone knowing how fast it is until the right time.:clap2:They're just testing and collecting data. Highly doubt anyone is running flat out.
I never heard the 350 in the gas, more like they playing but not showing. The GTPP is faster then they show en the GT350 hereI was wondering why most of the videos shows other cars blowing by the GT350???
