For what it’s worth, I did a hard rolling pull in first gear one day and felt the shifter flex more than normal along with a snap/pop noise followed by a fibration. I snapped one of the rubber isolator bolts to the trans output shaft, that’s where the vibration came from. After replacing the bolts I then noticed putting the car in first gear was very difficult and occasionally engaging 2nd gear while at a stop. If I go into 2nd gear then 1st gear it’s extremly smooth. My point being is I’m wondering if I/we/you over flexed something causing this issue and it’s a simple adjustment or replacement part/mod. To add one more suggestion off subject slightly, for those that don’t have the STEEDA trans bushing I strongly recommend installing one, there will be some vibration at low RPM but your shift engagement confidence outweighs the vibration, it’s hard to explain but makes a huge difference.
