I agree with you on this.If you really think that, then don't buy FRPP or Borlas or Corsa lol. MRT pricing is on par with those manufacturers (I'm basing that off of quality and material used to create the exhaust), and just like them, the vendors that sell their products are going to offer discounts. Did you pay MSRP for your car? Probably not...just the same as you won't pay MSRP for an MRT exhaust setup.
People are freaking out because they 'upped' their MSRP price to be the same as the other exhaust manufacturers with the same quality of product. If you asked a vendor, it would probably still cost what it was listed for a month ago.
The cost of the high quality stainless being used in that system is a part of the pricing. I know the owner of that company, and I can assure anyone that asks that "greed" is not a motivation for pricing changes. They are quite aware of the market landscape.
