I was intrigued by this post about "Dynapad" on the back side of the rear seat back to isolate the trunk.

Initially, I had planned on doing exactly this, and I still might - but I had placed one sheet of Dynapad under the trunk liner, and I noticed a difference - so I bought another, trimmed them, laid them side by side, and they're just about perfect. I could take about an inch out of the middle to eliminate the overhang, but not sure if I'll mess with that any further.
This stuff is HEAVY - two layers of different
foam, a layer of vinyl sandwiched in between, and a waterproof upper layer. Easy to work with. Cut it with scissors.
