Just Curious question from the "GHETTO GUYS GROUP" . IE: I ain't got a GT500 in my garage {YET}!! Just a Poor-Boy RedNeck with a '18 Gt 5.0 10speed Stock ..
My concern is ya'll talking about the pricks from the 3 letter Gestapo Forces . IS.......... Who decides what cars get away with not abiding by "Their" rules and regulations . If you are building a True "TRACK CAR" do you need to pass the "Tailpipe Exhaust specs ? What about NASCAR ? Do they screw with those guys ? Is it only cars that you might hit the track a few times a year and public street most of the time ? If these are dumbass Questions .."SO BE IT " I would like to add 200 Hp. to my 5.0 . In ballpark figures and still stay streetable {Ain't worried about up the tailpipe specs } In Texas unless you in a large city you got "NO WORRIES " ,it's Not a requirement on yearly inspections . Been seeing/reading alot about Whipple for HP increase . What is average price $$ if you get this installed on a 5.0 . What if Any are the unmentioned "Side affects" to beware of besides losing your 50K Power-Train warranty . ? Which I hate to do on a 20K mile car . Fuel Mileage {none of us worry 'bout that " ALTHOUGH .........way shit going IT COULD BECOME A FACTOR " . Will rearend and Drive Shaft take the extra HP. ? ...I apologize for encroaching into "THE ROYALTY GT 500 Site" Just figured you folks might have a bit more "Power Knowledge " you might share . Until Then Ya'll remain THE ELITE ..and well deserve it . Hope to Join you soon ... junqdawg

I think y’all are missing my point. PBD is offering the CX900S in a tiered package. The first two tiers do not have headers or even cat deletes. The third tier comes with Kooks catted headers. My point being that PBD obviously feels that headers are not required at the power levels their first two tiers produce. Where in that can anyone infer that PBD is hiding anything from the EPA?
Clear as mud?
To quote their sales guy when i got all my power goodies.

“The stock headers flow amazing, they just dont last at higher power levels and crack. Thats the reason for recommending kooks’’
