See post in this same section about blown opg's with an mmr balancer... Nuff said.

He's also running stock OPG, and no knowledge yet if the balancer had even a 1% effect on that. If I was to do it over again I'd buy the ATI probably, due to more feedback on those. But I don't think the MMR is a bad balancer by any means, and it's certainly better than stock :)

Yes. They been around for a long time, and when I grabbed my set up from you guys it was a solid deal buying the OPG, sprocket, and balancer together. The Romac seems to be strangely getting a bad name lately, even though I have never heard of any issues caused directly by them. One person makes a comment based totally on opinion, and it spreads like wild fires. I understand they are produced outside the US (Australia), and maybe that's what brings on some negativity.

We feel strongly ATI is the best, from the testing Ford Racing did which we were lucky to be apart of on the CJ program, it performs extremely well. We use ATI on all our applications where balancers are needed.

have been using Romac for over 20 years with good results people just look at the MMR thing and the rep attached to them. end of the day Romac is a well established company for over 30 years. has there been failures, yes, has ATI had failures, yes. every brand in the world would have suffered some form of failure. there's alot of cars here in Australia running them, we are doing a TT S550 workshop car and put a Romac balancer on it. in saying that, i have a S550 coming soon, which i intend on putting an ATI balancer on. end of the day, what is offered aftermarket will be better than stock. will it save OPG's etc, i highly doubt it, there's alot more to it than that.

its an easy decision if you place them side by side and feel the
quality difference
