I think its more MMD than AM. AM is just the retailer, not the designer/manufacturer. Their hands are tied.

I'm sure theres a heated discussion between manufacturing and sales (as there always is in these cases).

I'm also confident that AM will do everything in their power to rectify the situation when a solution is available. Designing a product takes months even years to complete. Who knows how long this design cycle was. If it was made overseas (probably was) than add another month or two for logistics.

That's all fine and dandy but keep the ones of us that were told we would be getting a replacement informed and don't just disappear from 6g like they have in the recent months. Right now I have a 250$ ripped piece of plastic sitting in my garage.

So this forum has pretty much got the silent treatment as of late on this product. BUT, looking at a youtube video from back in July when this first came out, lots of people have commented lately, and Will has been responding... as recently as yesterday!

Comment from Nov. 20: "Hey man, thank you for your interest! The guys over at MMD said it will be coming back in ASAP but I'll see what I can do about getting a concrete ETA for you! - Will"

So glad I returned mine months ago before even putting it on. Its a shame that the AM guys have ghosted this thread. They've been awesome with everything else that I've purchased from them.

Lol typical AM/MMD, sell shit stuff and the dip out. I stopped buying anything non brand name from them, and by brand name I DON'T mean Raxiom or MMD. Lol joke.

They keep sending emails pretty much everyday trying to get me to buy something

I have not purchased a single product since I bought the diffuser.:headbonk:

I'm no expert but my assumption is: MMD sent their plans to a (Chinese?) plastic molding shop, put in orders for a lot when they saw demand in the first week, realized its flawed, and got stuck with a lot of unusable inventory, a lot of sunk money, and the need to somehow get passable product out.

So business wise... they might be trying to recoup spent money, they have to find a new plastics machine shop, and figure out how to use the bad stuff. This can easily take months to sort out

Has anyone contacted MMD directly? Are they still in business?

I read another thread on here regarding their new 1/4 window slatted vent cover (which looked really nice on a few members cars), but people who wanted to purchase replied recently in that thread they can no longer find the MMD parts on AM??

MMD absolutely is still pumping out new products. Check out the new page for 10-14 Mustangs you'll see some recent releases.

Seems like MMD has put this on back burner, and AM has REALLY made efforts to ignore it on this forum. Seems like recently they have posted mostly about there two car giveaway and not much else...
