Now, the waiting begins. I just ordered my MMD Foose spoiler (since I didn't win one) in Black. Since I can't wrap a vinyl stripe around the shape of the spoiler, I figured the next best thing was to just do black to match the stripes. Should look balanced enough since I added the Black heat extractors to the hood.

Thanks for the hook-up on the discount code Alex!!

this is for the Vert owners, would you happen to have a side shot of your car with the spoiler installed...looking for a straight on shot...somewhat like this

just curious about something between the spoiler installed on a vert and fastback

Neo - Fair chance for everyone and I'll post how I'm generating the results later.

5 hours guys. Whose it gonna be?

Awesome thread! I'm watching this movie as I discovered this thread on this spoiler. I wanted a wing like the CS/GT wing, but now I'm rethinking it after seeing all these photos. :clap2:
Alex, if you have another in your swag bag, my birthday is next week :D
DIB please :D :D

I see I missed out on the drawings :( ....guess I was too busy singing at Christmas concerts last weekend. Anyway, the MMD spoiler in either standard or the V version certainly has my interest. I just received some GT500 style 10" gloss black stripes from AM.

I too want the gloss black painted spoiler to go on my 2016 TY with my factory painted black roof. As there is no paint code on the car for the roof, I asked my dealer...no answer yet. His body shop "thinks" it may be "shadow black". I'd really love to have the roof and spoiler match exacty! The factory black roof looks like glass!!

I wasn't planning to have the striping go over the spoiler, of course. I wonder though should I wait to put the stripes on after the spoiler or put the stripes on first? It would seem that if the spoiler has to be bolted on, and perhaps also has 3M tape...it may be best to have the spoiler first??

I see that Shadow Black has been added as a color on the V version but not the regular spoiler.

@ScottsGT - Yes! I hoped someone would get the reference, I love that movie and I have a fairly dark sense of humor as well.

If by swag bag you mean Spoiler/Wing, then no..

:-) But shoot me a PM with your email address and T-shirt/Sweatshirt size and I'll get you some AM gear.

Happy Early Birthday!

OK, took the spoiler out and placed it on the car to get some pics. Will probably install on Thursday.

Got a question for anybody viewing this thread. Keep the stripes on the car, or loose them?

I'm really tossed up on this myself. If I remove the stripes, I'll still have balance because my heat extractors are gloss black. I can't really take it outside to get full side view because the wind is blowing
like 26 mph with gusts up to 43 mph. I don't want my new spoiler blowing down my street and screwing
up the paint.
Let me know what ya'll think.

Well that sure did get there quick! Loving the look.

Regarding the stripes...That's really tough and I'd want to see her outdoors.

Love the contrast.
