Already been to dealer and they won’t do anything. They say no Cel codes so car in their opinion is perfect. But me as the driver can certainly feel the differences.
imagine if one day the gas was bad feeling…

We could have the same problem buddy. Let’s see if we can get the gremlins out…

Is yours changing from running just ok to running super smooth ?. Almost like the bad gas feeling ?
The car runs great. No issues.

Sorry pal
I misread your post.
Yeh I’m guessing some misfires is just the nature of the engine.

no pid for fuel pump pressure but fuel rail pressure is where it needs to be.

however I do notice the issue most as low rpm’s and I’m still thinking if that fuel pump in the tank is giving me intermittent problems.
forgot to mention at low rpm their is definite surge, its hard to keep the car at a constant slow speed.

I chased this for a very long time, but way worse. I found out they were mainly happening on decel.
You can add the live parameters for each cylinder on torque pro and see them pop up as they happen

Didn't someone here have a similar issue? I believe they had either stuck open injector(s)/imrc?
But since it's all 8, might be a pcm defect

Do you have a cruise log by any change where the problem is present?

A handful on each cylinder is nothing, actual misfires count up consistently throught the cycle. The worse it is, the faster they accrue.

I've always figured this type of thing is just from the small delay it takes for the cams to adjust. That or the imrc flaps. The monitoring is very sensitive.

If you have inconsistent performance I'd be looking at the cam angle actual minus desired pid's for each variator and see what kind of error percentage you get. Both on a normal drive and when it's acting up.

.

Silly question but are the plugs gapped correctly?.
Intake all good ?
throttle body working ok ?.

could be what I suspect with mine being the fuel pump in the tank.

I tried 3 different spark plugs, all gapepd to 0.048.
Did have a ported 18 manifold with imrc lockout.
New throttle body
New coils
new pcm-orignial was frying my #6 coil
Somewhere along the way of adding a whipple, all new timing set, gaskets, cs, opg, and new battery cleared it all up.
i can say that when i removed the oe injectors they were grossly dirty\clogged.
I was recently seeing numbers in the mid 20's on 2 cylinders. swapped them and it followed the coils. so fyi, dont get the msd street fire coils. swapped to the old oe ones and went away.

However, i honestly dont think you have a problem with those misfires. kill the car, do a pull, rerun the test and see how many you get.

Yeh I think the fuel side of things does seem ok.
quick question.
How many exhaust gas temp sensors do we have on these cars ?.

because on FORScan I can select 4

EGT 11-14

while 11 is reading 260 degrees C
The other three are all reading -40.

I know that if the sensor reads that it means it’s toast. I wasn’t sure the car reads from just one sensor ?.

None. They are inferred values
