Hi
I have attached a photo of the misfire cycle during a 30 min drive in my 2020 Bullitt and I trying to trace a problem.

are these number of misfires within spec for a 30 minute drive cycle ?.
Just wondered if it’s pointing at something wrong ?

thanks

Absolutely nothing.
Been trying to track down an intermittent problem with the engine running smooth and then rough for a while now and thought I check the misfire cycles. No codes so I’m guessing it’s an acceptable number of misfires within spec???

These cars can certainly be temperamental, which makes it very hard to sort out issues at times.

At least I now know looking at those cylinders that it’s not a bad injector, spark plug or coil. Because they wouldn’t all be missing which probably leads me to fuel pressure or Fuel pump ??

I have been driving the thing to almost empty for the last 4 years and probably put a lot of pressure on the fuel pump. Is their a way I can log the fuel pump to see if it’s healthy ????

Won’t be maf, Intake, vacuum problems because they all check out.
which I’m guessing only leaves the fuel pressure

You can install a fuel pressure gauge in the car with you to monitor it or log it as you said. Factory pressure should be 58 psi.

Cool.
is that at idle ??
im guessing thats low fuel pressure ?.

when I log fuel rail pressure I’m getting around 1800 psi at idle which I’m guessing is after the HPFP.

Yes, should be at idle. Mine idles at around 70-72 psi, but that‘s only because I’ve programmed the scaling for my fuel on my nitrous controller in a way that changed the pressure readout, otherwise it would (should be 58 psi).

My code reader has reported similar numbers on my 2024 since purchase in March.

Feedback on forums I have received is: no error code - no problem. My mechanic said try better gas and that made no difference what so ever. The Ford dealer ran their reader and found no issues. They said it is probably the code readers inability to read the tune correctly.

If anyone has other opinions I would love to hear them.

OK, Let's try troubleshooting 101, Have you done anything to the car lately??

Since it's calling out all cylinders, I'd check the Crankshaft Position Sensor.

Try a Crank Relearn ..

So this problem has been haunting me since new from 2020.
One day running ok but not quite right. A little stumbly during low rpm driving but doesn’t seem happy.

suddenly next start up it’s as smooth as silk and runs amazing exhaust note even sounds really strong.

reinstalled tune the other day and yes I did a crank relearn.

the image I sent was when in my opinion it’s not running at its best…..

But after stopping and re staring the engine check this out…
Still misfires but much less. The car is pulling really hard and low rpm is smooth and refined.

I guarantee tomorrow it will be back to rough again.

We could have the same problem buddy. Let’s see if we can get the gremlins out…

Is yours changing from running just ok to running super smooth ?. Almost like the bad gas feeling ?
