I have pretty much roasted the stock Pirellis. What online vendor has the best deal on these michelins?
If you just need tires then no one can beat the wholesale pricing of tirerack, generally. That being said, the vendors here (like Jason@GetYourWheels) can generally still get you a pretty good deal.

any of you guys finished the Pirelli's off and changed to Michelin? if you did what are the impressions and comparisons. thanks for replies
I went to them in the rear - 285/40/19 and picked up a solid .4 in my 60' at the track. By far the best all around summer tire you can get.

I had them on my last car as well and loved them - quiet, sticky, great in the rain... Definitely worth the expense!

How much better are these tires than the Michelin AS3? These were great on my Speed 3 even in insanely heavy rain on the highway. I hated their light snow traction, but thought they were really good for an all season tire.

So much better as to not be comparible. The AS3 is a good tire, but in any kind of performance application, the PSS would destroy it.

I live in southern Indiana, so while we don't get a lot of snow...it is below 45 all winter long. I would love to get some PSS's, but don't want the cold cracking them like the Pirrelis will.
