Have Michelin dropped the 255/40 R19 front tyre size from the Pilot Sport 4S range?

Doesn't seem to be available on their own website or in stock with retailers. Maybe just a temporary glitch?

good question. and with the PSS5 only available to OEMs at first, this is not a good scenario

I just bought two new PS4S from my local ford dealership. They might just be out of stock in your area.

Gone for Conti Sport Contact 7 instead.

Hopefully they will not suffer the cupping the PS4S's do - noise driving me mad!

Did you have PS4S before? Mine were wearing evenly but the cupping on the inner tread block had reached the point where I could hear it above the radio after 18k miles (mines a daily driver). Seems PS4S on the Mustang is very prone to this if you Google it, which may be why they don't fit them now?

Not on the mustang no, I’ve replaced horrible Pirellis, on my M4 they were good but tbh I preferred the original super sports I had. I’ve always been a bit of a Michelin fan boy but the price and reviews swayed me towards the Contis this time.

Well I survived the journey back from the tyre centre, so a positive first impression!

Life is now peaceful again, no rumbling and humming from the front end.

Other than that, can't feel any real difference at road speeds

Actually, a question on the new Conti 7's. One thing I like about the PS4S is how much the wheel/rim guard extends out from the tyre and how stiff it is. I have some serious curbs I have to regularly navigate and this has saved me a few times. Do the new Conti 7's offer similar wheel protection? Do they extend out as far as the PS4S? Cheers
