MGW shifter

Just pulled the trigger on a MGW shifter. But I think I ordered the wrong handle. I ordered the standard handle instead of the lower handle. Is it that much.of a difference between the standard and lower? Will I.be able to notice a difference? Also hope I made the right decision instead of getting the Barton hybrid.

I think its a half inch shorter which will give a slightly shorter throw. I think the handles are *edit, I saw the handles are like $15 and $5 shipping* you can PM MGW to get fixed up if you think you really want the shorter one. While I haven't felt a Barton I can assure you that you did not make a mistake with the MGW.
