Plenty of far better reviews that I could ever write, and directionally they are all correct. It's great.
However, I don't think they do the MGW enough justice. It's simply awesome.
I am of the opinion that it fundamentally transforms the car, and changes the way it drives and the way I drive it, more than all of the other mods I've done combined (CAI, tune, FRPP track pack, Steeda Stop the Hop & Diff Bushing, GTrak Brace, TStat).
Do not hesitate. Make this the first mod you do. It actually may be the only mod you want to do after you drive it.
Simply awesome. Unbelievable. So tight and crisp, so much easier and quicker than the stock shifter.
I love it!

the mt82 makes me glad I went with an auto this time, the thought of rowing gears with the MGW makes me sad I went with an auto, then I think about how shitty the mt82 is again and I smile

Hands down, the best shifters we have ever used here at BMR.

I really want to get this as well, but I'm not really looking to pay someone to install it for me. This is my DD car, so I can only be without it for a day or two at most. Is it easy to install for a newbie to wrenching?

GET ONE!!! Every positive comment about these shifters is spot on, and also does not nearly do these parts justice, they really are that good.

If you are not confident that you can install your self (I wasn't either) just pay somebody to do it - This way, you won't be "out of a car" for too long...it's worth it, just do it.

My '11 GT had the MT-82 and it was horrible! Installed the MGW shifter and it made a world of difference. MGW makes the absolute best shifter on the market for the MT-82. However, the MT-82 is still a crappy transmission fundamentally, so I went with the auto (6R80) in my '14 GT and am much, much happier

Loot into boomba. I have their shift knob and had it hydro dipped. Love it!!!! Doesn't get hot after siting in the sun and perfect weight and feel.

yes if you get the OEM adapter from MGW. I specifically got it so later i could use a GT350 shift knob. I dont like the cue ball type shifters.
