Man such a drama queen. Disturbing? I have faith that they'll get it right.
It almost appears as though this is the first time they've attempted to manufacture after market paddles-->

Yes, Disturbing they need to be shortened, because they fail to do the job properly at the current length...My guess, wrong composition, not rigid/strong enough for the length-->

Call me drama queen, I don't want Junk on my car-->:paddle:

Have you ever examined the internals of the shifter box? Ford didn't design it to work well with elongated paddles, so we are just trying to make dues with what is there. We can't engineer a new shifting mechanism just for this. The curvature either needs to be changed or it needs to be shortened slightly. We are testing both.

Husker...

You want race car paddle shifters with a base shifter design that was only meant for a daily driver. The OEM paddle base (the actual place where the paddle mounts and the contact is) is not designed to have a 4" long paddle up top. The pivot mechanism is simply not strong/sturdy enough to support it. I am doing the best I can to get it as long as possible while still retaining functionality...

Then don't come on here claiming you're going to produce "bigger and made from carbon, Ferrari style"

That was the objective, and we are trying to get it as close to that as possible.

So when do yours come out then? Oh wait....

There's only so much you can do if the OEM shifting mechanism wont support it, period. It's simply physics/leverage issues. The farther away from the pivot you are the harder it is to push and/or it wont even activate. Then they're useless to have.

Thats a very stupid attitude... youre upset theyre trying make a working product instead of a good looking paddle that doesnt work? And then you say you dont want junk in your car?

The one vendor that is researching and designing what the masses want, and Husker you're going to be a Dbag about it. I for one am glad there is trial and error, we all don't want another DD switchback incident, keep up the good work Vodoo.

I for one will eagerly anticipate the final outcome and still buy a pair. These are cosmetic, after all.

Mostly yes, but id really like to have my hands at 10 and 2 at the track, dificult with the stockers

10-2 will still work even with the reduction in height for prototype 2.
