Been doing some reading around and people recommend to store e85 in sealed metal drums. I bought six 5 gallon pails of X85 from VP racing to have consistent tuning, but I’m not sure those can be resealed. I’m having trouble finding a good metal pail to store it in my garage. 55 gallon is out of the question since i cant off load from my truck. What are you guys using?

You can get 15 gallon sealed metal drums or just get a plastic drum.

I was looking for more 5 gallon ones for ease of off loading from my truck, and to be less weight to hold up while pouring. Ive read plastic basically leeches the ethanol content if its left for more than a couple weeks

ATV ramps and a buddy, then you can unload a drum. Or an engine picker and strap. There's multiple options to Unload them alone. I have three 55 gallon drums in my garage. Two with 90% ethonal from Houston and one of oneR. I picked up two smaller furniture dollies from harbor freight and used brackets to hold them together. I use those to move the drums around the garage. So two per drum.

Ideally, thats what i would like to do, but i just dont have the space for even one 55 gallon drum. Only have a one car garage and i can fit the smaller drums in the corner in front of the mustang. im just wondering where people are getting these drums from.

Bumping this back hoping some people can chime in ..

Thinking of getting some plastic jugs instead. Looking for some good HDPE ones that can hold ethanol for about a month or so without leaching.
