Is there anyway to get power memory seats on the Mustang Ecoboost without having to spend $1800 dollars on an audio system? I really like to use the power seats as my and my brother sometimes swap cars (He is 6'2 and I am 5'8) and I am quite temperamental to my seat not being EXACTLY how I left it.

Power seats come with the Premium package. Memory seats are only available as part of the package with the Shaker Pro audio system and the BLIS with cross-traffic alert.

There are 2 different kinds of memory seats. If you want to program the seating position and have it remember it with a button press, you need to go to the Premium package. The memory recline, where it remembers the reclining position when you let someone in/out of the back seat is standard.

I bet there are 100 people on this site who would have happily ponied up $395 or so for memory seats as a standalone option. I would have. But at $1895 for the 401A package over the 400A package, it was no sale. I don't have any desire for the Shaker (thump thump thump) sound system, and BLIS didn't have a lot of attraction for me, either, so the package seemed pretty steep just to get memory seats.

Unfortunate for those of us who miss out, and for Ford, which could have made a few more bucks on a very inexpensive (for them) upgrade to the power seat system.

Funny; I have absolutely no desire for the memory seats (nobody but me ever sits in my driver's seat) but have them anyway because I wanted the audio system.

I would have spent even $495 for memory seats stand alone--the thing is in NYC when you park your car--or get an oil change--or get a car wash--your seat is always moved. It is a pain in the butt getting it to the exact same position as before every time.

Or take it to the dealer for service, aftermarket addons, etc. It infuriates me trying to get my seat back to the right position again.

For me it's more about the recline position and (unless I'm wrong) the recline is not powered and not part of the memory function (other than to let someone in).
At my height, every car that I've ever had is just push it all the way back, nothing to remember.
