As it's still winter I wait for the engine block to warm to 100f and for the idle rpm's to drop to below 1000 before driving the car, but yes I am driving 1-2 miles and then back (to the gym).
So I have an ecoboost and noticed that the left muffler always drips water when I park the car. The right muffler doesn't, and I smelled the liquid and it has no smell. Is this anything to be concerned of?
Well they are taking my car in Monday to fix the passenger door. Just nervous as hell that whoever drives it will abuse the transmission. You hear stories...
Well the light was off when I took it in--but i showed them a picture I took when it was on. They looked at the car--end result being they reset the crankshaft and ecu. Showed them the door alignment issue, I just found, about 2mm wide on the passenger door, and they said they would take it in...
I know on my BMW when there was a certain engine light it would downgrade the power by like 40% as to not damage the engine. Could this be what your experiencing?
I'll leave my car parked overnight, and I am careful to not click anything on the key when I lock it at night, and in the mornings when I start her up it says trunk ajar. I go to the trunk and it is open, and sometimes I have to slam it 2-3 times to get it closed. Am I locking the car wrong at...
Just found out my passenger door bites in one tiny section..like 2mm wide. Taking it to Ford today. Unacceptable. Between this and my service engine lights every 50 miles (still under 350 miles) this car is quickly becoming a nightmare.
At 180 miles my service engine soon light came on (Friday). I made an appointment for Monday to have it checked. By Sunday the light came off but I still brought it in. The techs couldn't find anything wrong with the car, and they couldn't recreate any of the issues. They suggested I keep it...
So my ecoboost with 190 miles just put up a service engine soon light (looks like a yellow lit pipe with a bend in it). I read in the manual that this has to do with emissions, but I work the whole weekend and have to drive the car and can't take it in until Monday. Will this negatively effect...

My car shipped out 2/12 and right before it shipped the EDD changed from 2/23 to 3/1 and then to 3/3 and then 3/16 which hasn't moved for over a week. My dealer was expecting the car today but I haven't heard a thing from them. At this point I'm frustrated as I had to hold off on selling my...
But my window sticker said that method of transportation was Convoy. I am about 6-700 miles from the Flat Rock plant in Michigan. Do you really think they would go through the hassle of using a train for such a distance?
So my car shipped out from Flatrock on the 12th, and it has been nearly two weeks now and still my dealer in NYC doesn't have anything. They were expecting today (cotus says the 16th of March--makes no sense), but still haven't received shipment. How long on average should this trip take?
So I'm supposed to be picking up my car today or tomorrow (fingers crossed) but after reading about some of the issues on the forums, I am a bit wary about what to expect. What, in particular, should I be keeping an eye on during my inspection?
Thanks!
