Just what I was thinking!Seems like a rounded review and refreshing to hear the logical comments regarding the rear seating.
It was probably 40 degrees when they ran it, sounds about half a second off I reckonhttp://www.carsguide.com.au/car-reviews/2016-ford-mustang-review-first-australian-drive-38652
The 0-100 times in this review kind of contradicted Ford's claim by a significant amount.
The thing that puzzles me is all the media reviews have positive things to say about the Pirelli tyres whilst first hand customer reviews (everywhere, not just the usa) tend to have very negative things to say about the same tyres!http://www.businessinsider.com.au/this-is-what-the-new-ford-mustang-is-like-to-drive-2016-1
This bloke has a given it (The Mustang), a good review...
I keep reading conflicting information regarding the Pirelli's as well. The thing that puzzles me is all the media reviews have positive things to say about the Pirelli tyres whilst first hand customer reviews (everywhere, not just the usa) tend to have very negative things to say about the same tyres!
Are they given a script of things to say about the car or what? Its all the same info every time anyway.
Thoroughly enjoyed Jezza's rant in that article.Regarding the tyres, I'd wager that 95% of the reviewers wouldn't drive the cars hard enough to notice any difference between a good tyre and a bald one...
If the conditions are dry and they're not absolutely cracking it around a race track they'd never know, so they'll spout back what Ford told them that the Pirellis are great.

... and you can tell they've been groomed on what to say.
Did you notice every review makes a point of saying that only an enthusiast could tell the difference between the GT and the EcoBoost?
That's crazy long!! Americans were saying 6 to 8000 miles lolI had the Pirelli P Zero's on my XR6. I found them to be acceptable. A little noisy and wet weather performance was lacking a bit but they lasted me 43,000 k's
Yeah I'm pretty gentle on my tires. Never saw a burnout on them. My mate who manages the tire place I go to was even shocked. He said I definitely won't get that on my current MichelinThat's crazy long!! Americans were saying 6 to 8000 miles lol
Never had tires last that long (43,000km's) personally, that's for sure.
Stock size of 275/40R19? MPSS don't come in that size, hence why there's no stock.Ok....so this is one case that I am happy to be proven wrong....I have been told, after inquiring in a couple of places, that there is no Michelin Pilot Sport stock in AU for the rear GT size that the Mustang's take !
