you can order a shelby snake here in Aus. Its the same as in USA, order a GT and take it to Shelby, or here in Aus to Mustang MotorSports being Shelby authorised to produce and number them as Shelby Snakes.

Tell me Plukka do you go by the username Nuard on Whingepool???

No it is not the same at all - let me walk you through this.

Go to the Ford USA site and call up the Mustang build options - there you will find the option to purchase the Shelby Super Snake option.

Also might be worth for you to watch "a faster horse" - it shows you the Ford production of the shelby at Flat Rock plant, as well as the other models available in the states.

The mustang motorsport upgrade trumps $treetfighter with crazy pricing - 99 grand for the 750 super snake upgrade

*** please note does not include base model price of GT??????

"Each 2015 Shelby Super Snake begins as a Ford Mustang GT with a 5.0 liter V8 and Ford Performance supercharger connected to a six speed manual or automatic transmission. Ford Mustangs are manufactured in Ford Motor Company's Flat Rock, Michigan plant and the Shelby Super Snake is built at Shelby American in Las Vegas."

And its sold by Ford !!!!!!!!!! Eg you can purchase this model from FORD

Its not a case of purchasing the GT and then paying for an outlandish upgrade package!!!

How hard is this really:paddle::paddle:

I mentioned that we can buy Shelby Super Snakes in Aus. is that correct? yeh it is.

Can you show me how to order a Super Snake on Fords website? I wasnt able to.

The cars are shipped to Shelby from Michigan and can also be sent in direct to Shelby.

Shelby have authorised installers worldwide, Mustang Motorsport being one of them.

Well I think that I might have to apologise as I have realised that I have confused the GT350 and GT500 - Yes agree that the GT500 is a post modded vehicle.

Might be alone on this, but I'm more on the dealers side for this particular case.

Yes, a new car "shouldn't" have defects. But I've seen $120,000 Audi's with swirls at dealerships. "Brand new" cars as well.

I think the buyer should have actually checked the vehicle BEFORE SIGNING, as you would when buying a new/old car. More than likely got caught up over the excitement and rushed through "Where do I sign goddammit!!!?!?!?", drove home... then a week later checked everything and went straight to social media complaining about poor delivery. Probably didn't even try to rectify the situation with the dealer.

Rust in the shockers. Must be part of the security system, like an electric fence. :lol:
