No I assumed that was the closing price. When I saw it it was the bid goes on. I watched for a little longer and didnt see where they said it had sold. Did you see it say sold?
No I assumed that was the closing price.
I believe if you register on the website it lets you see all the sold prices. I havenāt tried it so not sure if that means youāre registering with Mecum to become a bidder or if you just end up on an email listIt shows sold on there site but no price. Actually none of the sold units have priceās. Assuming it was 120k, thatās 132k with buyer fee.
Isn't the purchase price you see on the screen including the auction fees? You can hear the conversation about it at times during some of the auction cars. Some sellers were refusing to remove the reserve because with the commissions they wouldn't see that net amount. One was negotiating with Mecum and got it down to 5k commission.More money then brains, this car can be had cheaper just about everywhere you look and you do not have to add the auction fees on top of the purchase price.........someone got caught in the moment.
They kinda are rare, though.Right on. Letās return to earth with pricing. These are not rare collectibles. I would love to own one only to to have 760 hp and all the go fast goodies. Itās not like Carroll himself ever wrenched on them.
Rare alone does not equal worth, rare and in demand does. They kinda are rare, though.
Obviously, but I'm pretty sure there's decent demand for s550 500's.Rare alone does not equal worth, rare and in demand does.
Mecum Houston and Barret Jackson Palm Beach this weekend. GT350 Heritage didnāt meet reserve. Highest bid is $69k. CFTP 500 also did not hit reserve. High bid is $100k I believe. Those are at Mecum
