No I assumed that was the closing price.

It shows sold on there site but no price. Actually none of the sold units have price’s. Assuming it was 120k, that’s 132k with buyer fee.

I believe if you register on the website it lets you see all the sold prices. I haven’t tried it so not sure if that means you’re registering with Mecum to become a bidder or if you just end up on an email list

Mecum Houston and Barret Jackson Palm Beach this weekend. GT350 Heritage didn’t meet reserve. Highest bid is $69k. CFTP 500 also did not hit reserve. High bid is $100k I believe. Those are at Mecum

Another HE CFTP just crossed Mecum and didn’t get a close at $115K. Seems like the desirability of these has dropped. Maybe people figured out that it’s the most built color and option package for 2022

More money then brains, this car can be had cheaper just about everywhere you look and you do not have to add the auction fees on top of the purchase price.........someone got caught in the moment.

Isn't the purchase price you see on the screen including the auction fees? You can hear the conversation about it at times during some of the auction cars. Some sellers were refusing to remove the reserve because with the commissions they wouldn't see that net amount. One was negotiating with Mecum and got it down to 5k commission.

Obviously, but I'm pretty sure there's decent demand for s550 500's.

Mecum’s auctions just don’t preform like Barrett‘s for whatever reason. There’s an HE 350R sitting on BAT now at 125k with 4-5 days left. A HE 350 at 69k at Mecum is 76ishk with fee’s. That’s still above msrp. The 20 Cftp painted stripe car I watched today at Barrett sold for 110k with fee’s. Still above msrp. The seller could have got that on there own. Not sure why anybody chose’s the auction route with the really high fee’s.
