Has anyone with the race mbrp.catback.found light weight resonators that help with the loud drone of this sysyem??

RPM and gear where you get drone?

Any gear it seems,but right around 18 to 2000 rpms.

That's a completely wrong gear selection if youre puttering around in that RPM range. You can try learning to select the proper gear for the situation, downshift(!) perhaps but most of you insist on being in the highest gear/lowest RPM range and then bitch about the car when it underperforms, oops I mean "drone". Just because it's running and going down the road != you're in the proper gear.

Pull more RPMs and that 'drone' is going to disappear...

Yeah tommy learn how to friggin drive... why try to tune your exhaust to not drone at reasonable highway rpm when you can drive around in first gear like vinny.

Lol yea plus its a freakin auto that shifts up to 3rd by 30mph with the tune.Maybe i should just drive in locked in sport mode in 1st gear until 50 mmp!!!

Anyway back to topic,has anyone used any resonators on this system and had luck getting rid of some of the drone.

If you have your resonators deleted, it might be a good move to try adding them back on to see if it that cuts down on the drone by a decent amount. The the MBRP's race axle back essentially being a straight pipe, its going to induce drone.

Yea its the race catback,it has mufflers but it does drone bad.I like the sound and dont mind loud,just not loud in the car.I might try magnaflows resonated x pipe.

Yea i heard they work but u have to cut the length to what rpm u have drone in and it they just move it another rpm range.Plus i see some made up on one car and looked like a bunch of snakes under his car lol.Maybe he just did them wrong,i will have to check into them so more,thanks.

For me they covered exactly the range where it's worst. 18-2200

This systems mufflers are so raspy when loading he engine at 2-3k... Sounds like shit!! Hacking those mufflers off ASAP and installing anything other than those MBRP ones..
