Admit it, you just put unwanted food into the voidspace under the office.
I would totally never do that... ever, and i never did....

I found a egg under my hood of my DD, happily that was all besides some mud. And respect for that little bastard to climb up there with a whole chicken egg.
i would go for either repellants or non lethal stuff (electrical) poisoning it might lead to said creature pulling one last joke on you and die inside some cravice.
An egg ?

Get an outdoor cat. Permanent protection
That's what we have. She makes regular sweeps of both the garage and the carport.

What I have done in the [ast was put rodent snap traps with peanut butter in the trunk, on the floor boards, under the hood and kill them little basters. Then when you got them under control you can buy Rodent Repel and spray all around your engine areas ETC. NOW: You have to do a thorough inspection of everything, Air Box, Vacuum lines, ALL Wires under the hood, under the fuse box's inside and out, under your dash, console everywhere. If not believe me you will have issues which will cause you head aches in the future. I wont even tell you how much work is involved when found on an aircraft. Good Luck

Update: I went out today a opened the hood and the little bastard was looking at me. I jumped in the car and left my neighborhood and got on a better street.
As I hit third gear I heard a little thump and looked in the mirror as the little critter bounced out the back.
The car behind me ran his ass over. I set out traps and sticky things and got nothing so far. I’m sure there’s more than one. So far so good. I’ll try and put the engine cover tomorrow a see what’s under there.

I have traps and those sticky things out. Nothing sense the first little bastard committed suicide and got run over.
I have a couple trail cameras in the garage too. Nothing.

I’ve fought mice in the garage ever since we moved to Vermont eight years ago, and wrote on the subject back in 2016. Our readers had some great suggestions:

https://www.hemmings.com/stories/2016/09/16/open-diff-of-men-and-mice

I keep the hoods open on all vehicles and make sure A/C systems are set to recirc. I use Fresh Cab in the engine bay, placed around any likely points of entry. I’ve also cleared all the brush around my garage, eliminating as many hiding spots as possible. Knock wood, I haven’t had any problems in the last few years.

Yea, time to set up baited traps around the car on the ground. That's the only way to zap those rodents.
I use havaheart traps then relocate far away more than 4 miles.of course baited traps work well.they get into engine by climbing tires so put a trap at each wheel.

So far over just had the one that committed sucide.
I have spring traps and sticky boards and cameras and haven’t seen a thing. I pulled the engine cover and didn’t find anything.

Hopefully it was just the one. I spotted a mouse in my engine bay a while back and managed to get him with a snap trap just a couple of days later.

Maybe you should start raising them. Just think of all the oriental restaurants you could sell them to. šŸ˜‰ When I was in Nam, certain species were considered a delicacy.
