The thing with ATP is, not only is it a stock location turbo, but they do remold and redesign the turbine housing. It's not like a stocker that's been upgraded. ATP has been a super popular choice with the Focus ST guys for a reason and they perform great. Whenever they release their GTX3076R, that's going to be an option that I'm strongly interested in.

Unfortunately all their turbo's are pretty laggy, make power but laggy. ESPECIALLY the Fiesta ST.

There is still quite a bit of room in the stock turbo location. Im sure the 3076 will be more impressive than most think. If it can flow as well as this for a stock bolt in I'm sold. That doesn't look like a laggy turbo to me.

The compressor map isn't going to indicate the transient response.

Correct. Im just saying for the power goals.

What I mean by the 3076 not being laggy is the general history of the 3076 on other platforms.

In traditional format, however with it bolted in a stock frame turbine it changes the dynamics of the turbo greatly. A lot of the ATP bolt on GT and GTX series turbo's tend to be pretty laggy.

So...if you were to recomend a ball bearing turbo, what would it be? One that tops at 420-450 hp that spools as early as possible. I kinda like all that stock torque at the low end. Its different than what im used to at the track but i like it.
