My 2 cents...

Manual:
-More fun for most (when not in traffic).
-Much better control of the power from a roll. Can hold a gear and instantly launch.
-Feel more connected to the car.
-Less weight.

Automatic:
-Will consistently outperform all but the best manual drivers in a drag race.
-It's a godsend in heavy traffic.
-Can always have one hand free and/or able to always keep both hands on the wheel.
-All around much easier and more relaxing when just casually cruising. Especially stop light to stop light.
-Nearly bullet-proof & holds a lot of torque. No need to upgrade anything unless you go for crazy power.
-Also better for high power applications where shifts need to be really fast.

Automatic: (continued)
-Remote start
-"semi-auto" modes (i.e. can grab a gear via paddle)
-multiple Drive modes (from the trans itself, ie. for mpg vs performance)
-works better with Adaptive Cruise

2015 GT A6 3.55 Gears ..
Well I'm now "SHIFTLESS" I traded in my base GT M6 for a base GT A6 ... Got a hell of a deal too .. Took off all my mods and put it back to stock .. Close out prices on the 2015s Mustangs are great plus 1000 cash back and Ford 0 % for 72 months .. I didn't want the 3.15s so they found me one with 3.55s ... I'm very happy because I really like my Mustang but I hated the 6 speed manual ...No more MT82 blues for me .. :) It may not be your cup of tea but it sure is mine ..

I with ya Brosph!

2015 Ingot Silver GT Premium 400A, (W/PP, 6M), Ebony Premium Trim, Enhanced Security, Nav.

I just sold it back to the dealer. Took a small hit. Car had 3,425 miles. I couldnt find a 2015 left with options I wanted. :frusty:

Ordered 2016 Ingot Silver GT Premium 400A, (Auto Selct Shift) 3.55's, Ebony Premium Trim, Enhanced Security, Nav, 20" Wheels.

Absolutly loved the car, HATED the Manual. I know I'll love this set up.

Pending mods:

1. FRPP Handling Package. $1,300
2. FRPP Brembo Brake Upgrade Kit. $1,800

Having this set up in Auto....Priceless!
