This car isn't my daily, only ever comes out on weekends. I'm sure the loud thud I am getting is just slop in the driveshaft or something of that nature hitting when power gets back applied to itI would stop powershifting unless money isnt an issue for you and you have a different daily driver.
My 2015 with 2500 miles has been doing it and worse.. Just got it back from the dealer who kept the car for 4 days and said "it's normal"..lol The GM is the one who drove it and said leave it with us? He heard and felt the noise and said it was "not normal".. ?Mine is doing the exact same thing. It scares me sometimes at stoplights if I have it in neutral and then go into first and hear the noise.

Mine was that quite at 125 miles also, gets worse with timeLess than 125 miles on the car, i get the thud too when going from neutral to first. However, the slower I put it in 1st the less it thuds until slowly and smoothly putting it in first creates zero thud. I assume this is just normal operation with the trans/torsen/etc.
I don't have it. I'm lucky.guys the thud is completely normal.
What is the "thud" if it is normal? Just curiousguys the thud is completely normal.
NoDoes anyone with aftermarket shifters experience the thud?
Guess I know what shifter I am getting..
It's a goodie!Guess I know what shifter I am getting..![]()
Back on page 22 one guy said he put DSS 800 HP axles and the thud went away. That's as far as I've gotten. What is the "thud" if it is normal? Just curious
Being as this is a brand new rear end for the Mustang, could be the issue..Back on page 22 one guy said he put DSS 800 HP axles and the thud went away. That's as far as I've gotten.
