Based on many reviews on line I changed my transmission fluid to BG Syncroshift 2. Not really sure it made much difference to the shifting feel of the MT82-D4 gearbox on my Bullitt, so wondering now if anyone has installed the Steeda Triax STREET shift lever, not the full race mechanism? Also anyone added the Steeda transmission base support bracket as well? There is nothing really wrong with my shift but it is certainly does not feel nearly as good as the manual shifts in my other car nor ones previously owned. I do not want any increase in NVH.

I am sure it is better than the 2015-2017 gear change but my Bullitt shift has no slack nor vibration and is quite short already so looking for advice on how the Triax improves the upgraded gearbox. I don’t want to go to the full change with Steeda or others as they all seem to increase NVH.

I doubt that you would see very much improvement over the factory shifter. I’d consider doing a full shifter replacement if you want to really make a difference. Yes, they are a bit of a PITA to install, but worth it. Having said that, if you’re still against doing a full shifter replacement, consider trying just the Steeda shifter bracket and bushing, along with a Whiteline transmission bushing insert and see how that feels.
