Has anybody replaced their auto boot for a manual boot for a cleaner look?

You would think they'd figure it out when they look in the footwell ......You know it's an auto. A valet guy or your uncle Bob might not...
You give too much credit to valets...You would think they'd figure it out when they look in the footwell ......
Not saying it doesn’t look good. But why? Is it to look like a manual? Do you guys miss the manual feeling?
To me it just look cleaner..you can put your own custom touch .. there is no need to have three indicators in the car to tell you what gear your in..and hey as a bonus it might be an anti-theft. For some one trying to steal the car that can't drive stick . And does not know any better
I valet my car in LA all the time. Never had an issue.Nope. And I wouldn't recommend it if you're going to ever valet your car or let a friend or family member drive it. You know it's an auto. A valet guy or your uncle Bob might not...
I did it because the shift "indicator" didn't do anything except light up.Not saying it doesn’t look good. But why? Is it to look like a manual? Do you guys miss the manual feeling?
Looks better than stock tho.
On the 18 and 19 does not even light up anymoreI did it because the shift "indicator" didn't do anything except light up.
this is exactly what I would like to do - how is the boot attached in this photo?I did--I think it looks MUCH better.
