Manual Boot for Auto

Has anybody replaced their auto boot for a manual boot for a cleaner look?

Nope. And I wouldn't recommend it if you're going to ever valet your car or let a friend or family member drive it. You know it's an auto. A valet guy or your uncle Bob might not...

I did ..I have the 10speed auto . I have did a few different set ups ..the manual boot looks nice

To me it just look cleaner..you can put your own custom touch .. there is no need to have three indicators in the car to tell you what gear your in..and hey as a bonus it might be an anti-theft. For some one trying to steal the car that can't drive stick . And does not know any better

I valet my car in LA all the time. Never had an issue.

I actually believe it helps keep Valets on their toes and more attentive. It's not an ordinary car.

I just pay for VIP valet parking now when I have to valet. Keep it up front.

I did it because the shift "indicator" didn't do anything except light up.

On the 18 and 19 does not even light up anymore
