Auto Shifter (inc. Bezel & Boot) Replacement Question

I ordered a white cueball type shifter for my 2021 automatic GT. I want to also change out the boot to make it look more like a stick shift. Has anyone else done this? What all parts do you need? Do you need the manual shifter bezel or is the automatic one two pieces? I have already ordered the shifter and a new larger leather boot but not sure the boot I bought is the right one.

I believe the part on the left (with D, P, R etc), is just held on by screws you can remove that piece completely and just unplug the small harness that's attached to it.
