Yeah this is my first metallic color and am happy to see these pics, with PP and some tasteful black/matte accents this is going to give my boner a boner.

Agreed. Black 5.0 badges with PP wheels will look great with this color. :clap2:

The one thing I noticed when looking at this color vs my current sterling grey 2010 is that the metal flake appeared more dense and prominent, likely because Magnetic seemed a bit more dark. It really is a phenomenal color. I was all set on Race Red, but when I saw Magnetic in combination with the saddle leather interior, that was it.

SIDE NOTE - While some don't like gloss black wheels, I do, and I am considering getting the EcoBoost performance pack wheels for the GT I ordered. I like the color contrast with Magnetic.

I'm glad to hear about how dense the metal flaking is with this color. If I was to keep my 2013 Sterling Grey GT I was going to buy the gloss black track pack wheels. I too like the contrast of the black with the grey. I wanted the performance package, but wish the PP wheels for the GT were like the EB PP wheels. Those look great!

I think they look great also. The one thing that would hold me back from making the purchase might be the cost. Getting them as replacement wheels from the Ford parts counter will likely be expensive - on the order of $300-$500 per wheel. That doesn't include the tire and TPMS sensors.

I guess we will know in the coming weeks and months.

Perhaps it's just me, but that picture looks like a complete lack of contrast to me.

With those last pics posted they confirmed for me that this color is indeed very deep. Love how it looks like molten metal kinda like the T-1000 from terminator 2..living up to its "magnetic" namesake.

It is hard to see it in the way that hue is presented in the configurator. In real life, I believe a contrast would be noticeable. Here is my current sterling grey car with black wheels. Again, your eyes might be different.

The configurator doesn't do display the magnetic color correctly, I think.

I'm sure they will be very expensive through Ford. I would look through some different forums once the cars come out to see if anyone goes aftermarket and selling their stock EB PP wheels/tires.

I think we're both confused because the EB PP wheels are gunmetal, which is as close as it gets to Magnetic.

Magnetic/silver wheels = high contrast
Magnetic/black wheels = mild contrast
Magnetic/gunmetal = no contrast

I've seen two versions of the EB PP wheels. I've seen the dark gunmetal wheels, but I've also seen them in the same high gloss black.

Edit: If you go on the Build and Price and look at the EB PP, it states "19" x 9" Gloss Black painted aluminum wheels"

As of now, there is no confirmation what color EB PP wheels are. 90% of pictures we have seen are with gunmetal color wheels. Order guide and B&P says that they are high gloss black wheels.

Here is a picture of EB PP wheels in high gloss black.
