Those pony lights get more comments than every other aspect of the car combined.

They started putting these on in 2013, but you had to have the comfort package (heated seats & mirrors) to get them in 13 and 14. Now they are standard on premium models.

Wasn't planning on getting em cuz it's so gimmicky but comes with premium GT. It blows people's mind

I have to say, I had never seen them before I/we bought the little woman's GT premium. Now, I think it may possibly be the coolest thing on the car. It NEVER ceases to amaze and entertain people that want to see the car. People will stop us/her in parking lots and the questions begin! To those that are too cool for the lights: you aren't as big a deal as you think you are.

lol you are truly a major #$%# troll. I applaud your effort.
Seriously not trolling about that.

I've gotten positive comments from every person who's seen the car about the pony lights. Every. Single. One. And you buy a car like this as much so that other people can ooh and ahh at it as so that you can enjoy it.

And two months and 1,700 miles into my ownership of the car, I think I've spent a grand total of less than three seconds, combined, with the engine revving over 3,500 rpm -- so it's not like I'm using anywhere close to 435 hp anyway.

I get a whole lot more value out of the pony lights than I do out of the top-end engine power.

I... admittedly am against the pony projection lights... I think the car looks so mean and sinister and the pony lights just add some child-ish-ness to the car. Nothing is mean or intimidating about the pony lights IMO and that's how I want my car perceived... MEAN.

Also... while on subject... its just another technological doo-dad to go bad in the future... same reason it wasn't worth paying for the Subwoofer in the trunk and BLIS system... to me... theyre just sucking power/electicity/simplicity from the car itself.

Just my opinion of course... but I tell everyone these thoughts when they have the same reaction everyone else talks of... and they agree with me that the pony projection lights aren't "mean" but they still love them so much.

Yeah, I was just ribbin' the other dude.

I see your point about them though. They do seem kind of like something akin to underglow on slammed Japanese imports. I like them, but if they didn't come stock I wouldn't add them.

I've always wanted a car with underglow; it looks awesome. In my opinion.
