I have someone near me selling a Mach 1 TB and CAI for a really good price which is why I’m not outright considering the calibration kit for my 2021 GT.

Because of the difference in the MAF, would it cause issues without a tune? Mainly doing it for looks

I would think the ECM would compensate for this.

This is a slightly different scenario, but I run a ported Bullitt tb with a PMAS no tune required CAI kit and there was no tuning needed to run them.

I could look into that method as well perhaps, got a link to the PMAS?

The CAI may be ok without a tune but I would think the TB would require one. I would say steeda or FP should be able to do a tune for it.

It wont work, the ecu will throw a fit over not being able to accurately control the airflow. Maf sizing will be off from the larger intake diameter, and say 20% tb open wont provide the expected airflow

PMAS sells a no tune required MAF sensor with their CAI.

What year mach did it come from? The 22 and 23's had the carbon trap in them, but the 21 did not. It won't affect the tune but you will lose about 10 hp if you leave it in.

Ford performance will not sell you just the tune, you have to buy the whole kit. Your only option is an aftermarket tune. Why do you think he's selling the parts real cheap? They are useless without a tune. Most competent tuners can write a tune for this combo, I recommend https://wengerdperformance.com/

You will also need an adapter to mount the throttle body onto your manifold. The standard gen 1, 2, and 3 manifolds have an 80 mm TB with a square bolt pattern, the Mach 1, GT 350, and bullitt use an 87 mm TB with a rectangular bolt pattern, so the mach 1 TB will not bolt up to a stock gen 3 manifold without the adapter plate.
