Mach 1 Ordering Update

Your initial supply of patience must be low. I AM running out of patience, waiting from January 6th, car built 2 months ago and sitting in Newark harbor still, didn't cross the ocean yet

It's been well documented in the industry that many tires, especially sports performance tires are in short supply. Some of it due to the worldwide rubber shortage ( google: rubber apocalypse), as well as shipping and delivery issues. Michelin has even taken to renting cargo planes to get its own tires shipped in for some applications. And this isn't going to get better any time soon.

The Chevy Mach1 (er Camaro, CTS4/5V) just had their plant holiday extended as well.
I wonder what the yield rates are like with all this customer demand and the temptation to 'rush' fill orders.

Not sure what you mean by "yield rates" but I ve been wondering about quality control? I ve seen the other thread with all the bad paint. Lots of rushing, deadlines, short staffing etc.. Got me questioning my purchase a little.

that's a chip term. Say a perfect wafer yields 90% acceptable chips. Has that moved to say 82% (or much worse) because the guys growing the wafers increased the crystal formation rate at the expense of lattice stability and uniformity?

Hello everyone! Just wanted to give a little update on the end of 2021 Mach 1 orders. They have officially stopped the ordering of anymore Handling package cars. A few orders have unfortunately been cancelled by Ford and if yours was one of those, I have already contacted you! You can still order a 2021 Mach 1 without a handling package. We are doing 2% under invoice still on those and expect to see them by the end of the year.
Once we can order 2022, I will make a post letting everyone know and we can start taking any 2022 orders! Thank you to everyone for the continued support!

I thought 2021's were cut off Sept 30 and 2022 orders being mid-Oct with production starting Jan 1.

Mustangs are not built in January or february so it would be March until it is made.

Do it now! You'll regret it if you don't and can always cancel if you change your mind later. That is if you don't want a handling package car, no more 2021 orders for those.

We have the rest of this month and the month of October to order Mustangs still. But the in-demand items are becoming more scarce.

GT performance package was constrained last month.

Mach 1 Handling package was constrained this month. Black accent package on GT was constrained this month.

So you'll be more limited the longer you wait.

Curious Why the constraints? Wouldn’t these very same parts be used for 2022 MY? I would think at least the handling package is going to be carried over for 2022
