I had a similar thread in the Wheels/Tires forum, but not many responses. I'm interested in seeing various wheels on your Mach 1. Mine will be a HP car, FJG. I can't figure out what colors would look good on the wheels.

I'm not sure if they will be the street wheels, but more likely track (track days, autocross - so same width, similar offset) wheels. So likely forged wheels or similar.

Anyways, please post up what you've done!

(9/23 estimated build week).

I think the wheels on the HP are hot. Maybe a orange accent would be nice. Can’t wait to see what people come up with. I have an HP FJG on order too.

I like them as well, but I need a set #2 The HP wheels will probably not be fun to clean off brake dust. They won’t be polished wheels either. :)

I can confirm, they are not easy to clean. And they have to be cleaned often.

Didn’t you have them ceramic coated? I thought you did, and I’m my mind that would make it easy, though I haven’t used before.
They are ceramic coated. But there’s very little space between the wheel and brake rotor in the front. I ended up buying some special wheel cleaning tools to make the job easier. The brake dust comes off without much effort but within 50 miles of driving they are dirty again. Clarification: dirty by my standards. My wife thinks they look fine and I waste too much time in the driveway cleaning them
