LUND TUNE SHIFT ISSUE in paddle mode

Installed my headers, JLT and Lund tune. Went to do acouple of roll ons and noticed something was not right. I guess Ill have to datalog and send it to him. Im sure he will work this out for me; heard great things which is why I purchased this setup. CAR SEEMS TO shift at different rpm points depending on the mood.
I'm a newb when it comes to this stuff, I'm more of a take my car to the shop have it tuned and go play kinda guy. I don't even have a laptop at home.lol But this has cost me a roll race or two. :frusty::frusty::frusty:

3-4 shift in paddle mode seems like a double shift so to speak

4-5 car seems like it hit a gov or fuel cut for a moment then picks back up. each time i notice the a/f goes to hell when this happens.

Open a ticket on Lunds website, email them the video and a description of the problem. I'm sure they will get it taken care of quickly.

I will add using the paddles for WOT shifting will be inconsistent. Have you tried to leave it in drive and do a full pass to see if the car experiences the same issue?

It doesn't do it in drive. Ive tracked it and 3-4 is fine

super easy, take 5 minutes to datalog the car, and open a log, and send it in, could be as simple as traction control being on or something

so many factors, were you already in paddle mode from the first gear shift on, or was in in s, but you didn't hit the paddle til the 3-4, that confuses the car.

did your traction control kick in etc....

if you put it in s mode, you have to use s mode from the very beginning, if your in s and then tap the shift in 3rd, it will not shift properly

exactly.

there are so many things going on with the drive modes, and when you hit what, etc... combine that with all the different tcs and advancetrac modes and it's ridiculous.

give the courtesy of sending in a datalog, and lund will let you know whats going on.

Simple data log will fix it very easy. It sounds like the converter is going into lock up.

With the 15 I would rather do data on the street than the dyno to get the transmission tuned.

Small hiccup in the tune, not an issue with the transmission.
Could be worse, he could of made the mistake of picking up an MT-82.:doh:

it may not even be anything in the tune,

could be tcs , kicking in

Finally got the car logged and sent to Lund last night. Got a reply from him wiht a different tune at 12M today. Great service! ill update when I load the new tune tnight

Tried to load the second tune. ran into the same problem again. Error 110AD.. I swear this is becoming more a of burden then me spending the extra money at my local tuner for a dyno tune. Once and be done..

Just return the car to stock, reset tuner, load new tune on tuner, then load into car...easy fix. It's actually an SCT issue.

Yup... Flash back to stock, then update the handheld tuner and re-flash the new revised tune.
