there really isn't much change that's needed by slightly different 02 placement.

your commanding the a/f that you want, your commanding the timing you want, your giving the car the ability to make changes to said a/f and timing based off fuel quality.

once you give the car good information to start, they will work a lot for you on their own

the cars can learn e85, race fuels, etc.. over an extended time period

Just finished taking the cat for a test drive, and it runs flawlessly. The JLT was pretty easy to install. I forgot to reuse the bushing on the box, so I had to back track a bit. No biggie.

My first impressions are solid. The car pulls noticeably harder, and there is a definite roar from the engine that wasn't there before.

Should I expect anything other than grins from this point on?

Also... The ngauge, as was stated earlier, absolutely does save the stock tune before it flashes the new tune. Took about 5 minutes in all (copy the stock tune, delete it, and then I stall the new tune. This thing is quick !!!!!

Very happy, and worth the wait

Can some one please tell me the main difference between the ngauge and sctx4 tuner? I will only be doing at the most headers and intake. Ngauge with lund tune is $549 and the sctx4 with lund tune is $419 is the ngauge really worth $130 more than sct?

nGauge can write a tune faster if you need to change tunes. It can also be used as a gauge/ 4 gauges and a logging device straight to an SD card. Since you don't need to hook it to a computer to update the device/tunes/logs just pop out the SD card it is compatible with any computer that can mount an SD card (Mac, Win, Linux, Android w/ OTG cable).

Before you settle on the SCTX4, take a peek at some videos (I think they're on youtube) of the nGauge vs the SCTX4 interface. nGauge is definately nice and the write times of the SCTX4 are painfully slow.

I'm deciding between the two as well. If I choose nGauge, then I'll have to go with Lund tunes which isn't a bad thing. But, if I go through my local tuner, then I'll have to go with SCTX4 because he uses SCT to tune. I believe nGauge is an HP software based tuner.

Oh...and my mods are similar to yours. I've got Kooks LTHs coming in Tues. So pretty much intake, headers and tune are the hp making mods.

ngauge also has data logging and guage mode and ability for larger storage and additional tunes...though I would imagine that it would be impossible to max out the memory.

nGauge has many more options on the tuning side. I can log 30 parameters with nGauge. On SCT I could never do over 17 and half the time it didn't work.

Think flash time isn't important? Wait til your paying for dyno time

After installing the Ngauge and new tune anyone here dyno their car to see actual gains? I'm looking to purchase the Ngauge with intake and I wanted to see if I would notice the difference before I spent the money.

there are literally handfuls of dyno sheets in other threads with Lund tunes in all fascists of modification... the nGauge itself doesn't change anything about the tune, just the delivery
and monitoring system.

Oh OK I will search for those. I thought the nGuage could do more than the SCT X4 when it came to the different parameters and data logging.
