Roush Phase 2 + Lund + Automatic here. Wouldn't have it any other way. The Roush calibration and the Lund tune IMHO feels completely different. As someone mentioned earlier, the shifts are so smooth and perfect! It honestly feels like another car. There's no "hanging" that I used to experience either when shifting.

The first time I went WOT after getting the "OK" from Lund after data logging, I smiled like a little kid.

I just put in my tune and holy shit! I wish I would've done it earlier. Going into 2nd with TC on the all seasons it's useless. My face when it I started on the left lane and ended up on the right:D
Lol I know exactly how you felt! Swapped my Bama time for Lund and thought it wouldn't be that much a shifting difference till the 1-2 shift hit then 2-3 hit and the rear started to dance again. :headbang::eyebulge:

Its funny how things feel fast on the street, lightpoles flying by, buildings, ect. ect. Then you get on the track and you feel like you can jump out and run faster. Then the time slip truly drops your heart in your gut. I had a different tuner before I went to Lund Racing. I still am amazed at how much Jon helps me and how good his tunes are, I threw away a lot of money with a different tuner, dont care though, im happy now, my car flies with Lunds tune. Time slip tells it all.

So say I wanted to do this tune and bring it back to factory calibrations for a given reason.. Would the dealer know that I tuned it and brought it back to factory settings? I've heard there is a red flag that comes up when tuning back to factory, that the dealer can see.

The dealer can always tell if you have tuned your car. I never had any issues myself. It really comes down to the relationship with your dealership. Every dealer is different when it comes to mods.

No problem. If you are going with a Lund or Livernois tune then you have nothing to worry about. Both companies have a very strong reputation. You'll be fine.

Just ordered my lund tune and ngauge from Beefcake, can't wait to get it. Should have done it a long time ago just wasn't sure who I wanted to go with. Beefcake and lund seems to be the choice of many.

Thinking of purchasing Lund tune for my A6. The full throttle shifts sound fantastic but how are the part throttle shifts? Does it hit hard at part throttle as well or are they softer?

Same question here, stock shifts are way too soft at all throttle positions. At WOT I want a firm snappy shift, and at part throttle I want a quick shift. Not the slip and slide powerglide bs the car does with factory programming. The description I gave Torrie when I had my ecoboost was that I want part throttle shifts to be quick like an old hydraulically controlled 3 spd auto with a moderate shift kit in it. It's not that it bangs the u joints out of the car, it's just that it completes the shift very quickly. The other thing that I hate is that the car is going into 2nd gear at about 4 mph when I'm driving normally. If it would wait till 8 or 10 mph it would be better, and make it more willing to downshift back into 1st if I start to step into it a short time after pulling off from a stop. These are things that older hydraulically controlled transmissions seem to have no trouble accomplishing. Does a Lund tune do these things?

Lund has the hardest hitting shifts in the business IMO. I have had 5 different tuners. I bark 3rd at 88-89 mph. The 1-2 is crazy hard. Love it.
