Lugnut socket

All, I purchased a used set of Forgestar F14's that have 19mm hex gorilla lug nuts with them. A standard 19mm socket doesn't fit in the holes in the wheels. What brand and type of socket do you guys use?

I've got a Kobalt (Lowe's) 12-point deep socket in 13/16" that fits inside the F14 lugnut wells. In mm, that's more than 20mm.

It's definitely a thinwall design, but it's entirely strong enough for hand tightening/torqueing up to at least 110 ft-lbs that I know of.

But I wouldn't trust it to withstand much use with an impact tool.

Thank you for the advice. I'm in Germany now and it adds another dynamic finding the few places that sell tools with few options. I ordered a socket this morning that is supposed to be super thin walled for wheels. I will see.

19mm is 3/4 I think 21mm is the 13/16

I use a 3/8" drive 13/16" 6 point Spark Plug socket
(The reason for the spark plug socket: it is thin wall, and it has a neoprene insert in it that keeps the lug nuts at the opening)
I then use a 3/8" to 1/2" adapter on the Spark Plug socket
(The reason, it also acts as a very short extension, which works well with my aluminum wheel recess)
I then can use my 1/2" breaker bar for loosening, and my 1/2" torque wrench for final tightening.

Could well be. 13/16" is what works with the OE lugs for my '08 and the Forgestar F14 should have the at least the same recess diameter as mine do regardless of intended fitment.

I have a Bluepoint 6 point impact socket. It is a combination 19mm and 21 mm. Combined with a 3" impact extension it works well in most all situations. It is available from Snap On.

All good ideas thank you guys. My tool box and tools get here this week. I just moved to Germany and was reliant on the auto hobby shop on the army base. I should have asked for spark plug sockets. I'll check mine when they get here to see if I have the right one.

You may have a Snap On supplier on base or at least one that supplies the base. Check with your motorpool.
