Hi,
I'm relatively new to tuning and want to ensure everything in my car is in good shape.

I've noticed a difference between LTFT (Long-Term Fuel Trim) values for bank 1 and bank 2 while idling.
Is this normal, or should I be concerned?

it could be fine, but its tough to know for sure without knowing what's done to the car. Is it stock?

Fueling between banks is never going to be 100% equal, it's just not that sophisticated of a system. Maybe if we had O2 sensors in each exhaust port and individual runner manifold with ITBs you could control fueling much better and thus have more stable fueling across the board.

But with a single O2 sensor for the entire bank and a shared runner manifold you'll have differences in fueling.

There shouldn't be much to change with those mods. Have you adjusted the maf curve at all? If so, how did you do it?

thank you for replaying, the car has JLT cai and cat delete
It’s most likely the CAI, put the oem one on repeat the test and see if you see a difference.

idk if I’d get too bent out of shape over 5% but in the spirit of finding the root cause that’s what I’d do.
