I didn't think hanging rpm = torque management.

The stock tune has hanging rpm as well, I thought this was an emissions thing. This is not to say it can maybe be tuned out. I don't know.
I have no clue, that's just what my tuner had told me, and I guess what someone from Lund had mentioned to someone else having that same problem. I don't THINK my stock tune had it, but I could be wrong. The other guy I'm talking about didn't have the problem with his stock tune. Personally I don't see how the hanging RPM and torque management are related but whatever, as I said I'm not tuner lol.

Tq management plays a part in how the cars shifts also, manual and auto, and in my opinion my play a part in the rpm hanging a little and be more noticeable when tuned.

I was planning on picking up a set of 1 7/8" LT's with an o/r pipe in a couple weeks but after reading this thread and hearing about all the tuners that are having problems being able to get around the torque management on these cars, I think I will just wait. I think its kind of crap that I see and hear about all these customers that have these problems with their tunes, and these "big name" tuners cant get the tune/problems figured out yet they post all over online that they have these cars figured out and can get you good tunes, charge wtf they charge for these tunes, but then cant get them figured out or to run right. MAYBE these tuners shouldn't advertise that they have it alllllll figured out etc when actually they don't, and we don't find out until our $$ is already gone, then other known tuners come around stating the same thing like we all have lots of extra $$ sitting around to waste to switch to their tunes that offer the same empty promises. The tuner I currently use is having the same problem with not being able to get around the torque management with these so I have the hanging rpm issue with my car, just like other well known tuners I see and hear about... but you sure don't get told any of the chances of that happening to your car up front before blowing the $$ on it and then being stuck with that tune, only to hear/read from other tuners "hey come over here and let us tune your car for $35476846868" when no one really has this torque management problem figured out. Maybe I'm the only s550 owner out here that is kinda tired of hearing/reading that problems aren't figured out with these new PCM's yet, but tuners sure are quick to try to get you to jump on their bandwagon, and spend your $$... but I doubt it.
Well I can HONESTLY, tell you that we have yet to have any issues with tuning for LTH's. The reason why you see so many tuners all running into the same issues is because they all use the same tuning software. Whereas we went out of our way to engineer our own tuning software and hardware. This is why you do not see our clients having the same issues with the same or similar mods.

I have the same issue with the LT, JLT and Lund tune. Power loss on the low end and sometimes a lag. CEL kept coming back as soon as i turned the car off and back on. Found out F40 20amp fuse burnt out. Replaced it and CEL is gone but still felt like i lost power on the low rpm range.

My issue was with the tune for sure. After 2 datalogs, the car runs great now. You should be able to get this worked out with your tuner.

This is why my car is staying stock (save for suspension) for a year or so. Prices will go down, used parts more avail and more knowledge.

I am debating waiting until all of the tuning bugs are worked out too.

I doubt there are really that many tuning bugs. Keep in mind, usually the people with problems post looking for help or answers. I had a little hiccup at first but don't regret getting headers for one minute.
