Trying to figure out wheel and tire figment on my 2017 mustang pp1. I’m lowered on eibach sport line lowering springs. I’m planning on getting a new set of wheels for summer driving tracking and drag racing. The wheel size I’m planning on going is 19x10 and 19x8.5 willing Chang it if told differently but wondering what my best options for tire sizing is, I’d like to go 295s in the rear but I’m worried about rubbing. Here’s the wheels I’m planning on doing

Depending on how low it is I'd run 295/35 or 30/19 and 255s in the front. Im pretty sure a 295/30/19 would be absolutely no rubbing, but 35 will be closer, if the offsets are right of course.

I’m mostly just concerned with getting wider tires in the rear I’m not gonna be road coursing my car much. These are gonna just be my summer wheels and I’m gonna keep my other wheels for winter. This is my daily. I was planning on keeping 255 up front. But you think I’d be better of changing that?

Also what are people’s thoughts on American muscle wheels? Or would I be better off biting the bullet and getting more Main brand wheels

So for the quality of wheels i cant talk too much causeni didn't test them directly. Would I put them in my racecar? No🙂
LMR has a nice pp2 replica
My recommendation is APEX wheels although is about 400$ a wheel. But they do group buy often.
If you change wheels I would go bigger.
If you dont want to be square there are many option staggered with 19x10 front and 19x11 rear. 275 or 285 front and 295-315 rear. (usually 305)
I would go this route. And they fit good.
Keep in mind APEX 18" fits in your pp1 wheels(and clear brakes) so you also have that option.

Thank you I’ll probably go that route you think I would have rubbing issues with my lowering springs
