Hi, I'm new to the forums. I have a 2021 Gt 6spd that I'm torn between lowering or getting rims first. Currently I have the base 18s.

As far as lowering I was looking at a track pack from steeda. Rims I am looking at rtr 7s or 5s. Car is black

Wheels and good tires. Lowering does nothing useful

Wheels first for flexibility. You get to choose from the broadest selection then lower as needed to make it suit your taste.

It's useful for me to point and laugh.
Agree with wheels first, however would love to put on FP springs but have enough trouble with clearance and the R splitter as it is. Closing a bit of wheel arch gap and tightening up the suspension ain’t a bad thing…
