good info

I'll be there either way, not sure yet if I'm competing.

Tons of race/track experience, almost 0 autocross.

It should be interesting.

Hard to say how well you would do, I don't know how much AutoX & track experience you have?
Here's the results from last year race at PPIR, you will be in the GT Class
https://clubregistration.net/clients/usca/results/overall.cfm?eventID=8668&class=GT

Here's your choice for tires, they have to be 200tw
I run Bridgestone RE-71 305/30/19, not much choice since I have 19" wheels

If you run 18"
BFG G-Force Rival S, they come in 335 and 315's
Falken RT615K+ the widest is 315
Here's a good review of the
https://www.autoxandtrack.com/falken-rt615k-plus-review/

Not all 200tw are approved
Ineligible tires for 2019 include Yokohama Advan A052, Kumho Ecsta V720 ACR, Federal 595RS-RR

Hope to see you out there,
Paul

One thing about PPIR, they don't do a true AutoX layout, they use the infield of the road course for the AutoX event

You can view all the races from last year, just download the Optima Network on your Amazon Fire Stick, Fire TV or Adroid device.

I'm actually doing a time attack event there that they posted up on fb in one of their cars, so we'll see how that goes :)

I did one Pro Solo event way back in the day in a Formula car, so not exactly an experienced cone dodger :p

I would love to!

What do you think my chances would be with just coilovers and a cobra jet/headers?
What tires do you use?

It seems they put a lot of emphasis on the looks and finish. I'm not sure if I can have everything cherried out by then. But for sure, I'd like to put some coilovers and at least make it breathe better.
What coilovers are you going to run?

I'm running the Cortex/JRi set up, double front and triple rear, along with their camber plates and monoballs
http://cortexracing.com/product/cor...r-system-double-adjustable-2015-mustang-s550/
Filip is the owner of Cortex, he can advise on setup and spring selection,
the best way to contact him is [email protected], tell him Paul sent you.

If you go with the Cortex/JRi set up, JJ Furillo of Ultimate Performance is at all the big events and can help with tuning,
he worked for JRi and his DNA is the shocks.

I've heard mixed reviews on the JRI stuff. I'm looking at the MCS at the moment, but haven't made my mind up.
I really would like the TTX or 8300's but they are out of my budget and I swore that I won't do what usually happens - start off as a track car and next thing you know its a gutted race car on a trailer.
