I recently bought a 2015 V6 with 6sp manual. I want to do a few mods to body and engine. Since I live in California the engine mods are limited. I am using this as a daily driver while I restore my 05 GT and 85 GT.
I don't want to put a ton of money into it , just want it to look nice. I am having a hard time finding a rear diffuser that actually fits with out cutting up the bumper. I know that the V6 bumper is a 1 piece and most of the diffusers are for the GT and Ecoboost that have a 2 pc bumper.
Several sites say their diffuser will fit but I can see in the pics they have the tabs that fit into the GT bumper.
I tried to explain this to them but they don't understand.
Just want a nice looking diffuser to break up all the Competition orange color on the rear anyone have suggestions? I have already changed the trunk panel to the faux C/F

Really want a actual diffuser, I have seen the bumper treatment like the plastic dip or decal overly and don't really care for the look.

You have base model car that utilizes the bumper that the style line is molded into and painted body color. Any of the premium package cars (regardless of engine) have a bumper designed to have the black plastic trim inserted into molding clip openings giving the car a more dressed appearance. In stock form both base and premium bumper covers are one piece. Most aftermarket diffusers require cutting the premium bumper cover.
your choice is to upgrade your bumper cover to premium then choose a diffuser you like or select from a few options for the base cover.

This is what I have tried to explain to the place that has a diffuser they say will fit for sure without any modification. I had them send me pictures of it and I can see the tabs were it would fit the GT 2 PC bumper, even sent them pictures of a GT bumper with the lower panel removed to show the slots where tabs go into.
I have located a diffuser that actually fits the 1 pc bumper that looks pretty good. Will post more on it when I install it this week.

Actual diffuser.

Well you arent getting much of an actual diffuser by bolting on something additional below your stock parts. Just actual weight and cost.

Best option for a good look, is to bite the bullet and replace the bumper with a GT dual single tips exhaust or upgrade to a GT350 or mach1 style dual tip exhaust.

Or just tape it off and paint it and call it good
