I have found a couple cars on the East side of the country and I'm in AZ.

I have already placed an add on UShip.

Does anyone have any recommendations for reliable and reasonable shippers. Or places to stay away from ?

Just looking for input.

Thank you

I’ve used intercity lines twice and was completely satisfied.

I recently used a nationwide broker, Montway to find me a carrier.
I didn't realize they're just the broker and post the job on a website for the actual carriers to bid on.
The actual carrier was fine, and kept me updated on his progress over the 3 or 4 day drive from bfe Ohio to here in bfe Texas.
However the broker, Montway, was another story.
I counted 25 different contacts including emails, and texts after I'd initially paid them.
Contacting them back was impossible and just generated more texts and emails.
Naturally they'd already charged my CC, so I couldn't fire them.
Turns out they needed the vin number of the car they were hauling for me.
Which is one of the first things you have to post before you even pay them.
And out of those 25+ contacts, with me wondering did the deal go through, are we on, are we not?
Not once did they simply state why they were frantically trying to contact me.
A simple email, hey, we need your vin number would have been good.
They gave me the wrong driver's name and contact number.
When I called him he was in new Jersey with kids crying in the background, obviously at home on his day off.
He called his dispatcher for me and got that straighted out.
It was a circus. So do yourself a favor and try a different broker.

I've use Goliath as a broker twice and had a really good experience both times.

They were very punctual with all communucation. The carrier they selected was very professional and surpassed all promised timelines.

Intercity has a quote of $3200.....seems high to me....I'm not really needing enclosed transport.

Most of the big popular shippers are just brokers and the same bunch of shippers take the jobs.

Some of the haulers are better than the others.

The worst of them don't speak English, don't tell you when they are picking up or dropping off, don't have the right equipment to properly load/unload the vehicle...

I have used them 5-6 times, sometimes it goes great, sometimes you are woken up at 7am for a drop off, I have been left in the dark three days wondering where a car is, last car I had picked up they loaded with wood scraps instead of ramps and tore the front splitter off...

I just had my current car shipped from Seattle to Chicago using Goliath about 2 months ago. They quoted me $1400 for open transport and about $2300 for enclosed.

I went with open as it's a Mustang that I plan on driving and enjoying. What's going to happen to it on a truck between other cars that's not going to happen with me driving it?

Now if it were some garage queen with flawless paint that's a different story.

I did fly out to the dealer to view and drive the car before purchase and put an Air tag in the car so I could keep tabs on it.

Try this place. cartransporters.com Their quote was reasonable and they got good reviews from users on Reddit.
