Any clue what’s up with the chugging/bogging? I guess I hadn’t heard of that one with the 22/23s.
Could be tranny or something else. In 10th gear put a little gas and she starts chugging until I push it further down and force a downshift or use the paddle shifter. Used to happen a lower gear but the flash fixed that. I don't have an on board computer to see whats happening but it's irritating and shouldn't happen in a modern car let alone a sports car. Only use 93 octane too.

That would be irritating especially on a stock car. I have a stock 20 A10 GT that it’s really pretty hard to get it to even shift up in to 10th in the first place.

If you’re looking for some cheap and easy 20/23 power boosts that likely would be warranty friendly check out Tony’s Fords and Mustangs on YouTube.

These types of posts crack me up. Ever heard of inflation? $17k in 1990 is about $39k today. 225 hp or 450 (or 455 hp in the Camaro’s case) for about the same starting price. Plus way more advanced technology and 10x better chassis, wheels, tires, options, etc.
Ya ya ya, sure, as a 19y/o I could afford and buy a new t/a or mustang AND DID. 1979 t/a 10578.48
No 19 year old is affording a 39999.00 v8 mustang or camaro off the lot NEW.
So please, please try again.
What always cracks me up, when someone claims inflation. Sure it is part of it. but not the reason. Wages not keeping up IS the reason. but carry on.

My experience -

I just removed my 2023 Mach 1 carbon filter from the intake tube sleeve and then reinstalled the inner sleeve.
I took my time, and it took me about 20 minutes to complete.

Results -
I was able to tell the power delivery differents immediately.
This being said, I'm still breaking my car in with only 450 Miles on it.
I did not pass 4500 RPM's., Put I was still able to feel the differents.
Even at the lower RPM's, the motor just ran smother and moved through the RPMs with less effort and with less throttle input.

The Mach 1 is now running the way it was intended to.
I am very happy with the outcome, and I have not had any issues.

With the HP being down for 22. I've discovered one change that can hinder power.

I've heard a change in Cats and carbon filter in the intake. I've discovered said filter along with an insert.

I’m guessing the tube has to be pushed out? How did you remove yours?

I just removed my carbon filter as well and had a similar result - smoother RPM gains and no delay on throttle blips from idle. Overall the car just seems to go down the road easier.

Maybe it's a placebo effect, but I don't mind.

I still need to address this one way or another. I intended on buying a 2021 prior lid but now i’m almost to the point of tuning the car and saying screw the warranty.

does this mean an aftermarket CAI on a 22+ would actually make a noticeable change since it's not just "stock -> aftermarket", it's "stock -> aftermarket PLUS 10 hp"? I'm assuming my tuner could take advantage of that?
