I'm looking into headers now. I have bbk shorties already, but the plan is running a 75-100 shot in the near future and was curious if I'd be better off with longtubes. Was also curious what brand longtubes to get as well as any problems people are having. Any advice is appreciated

Shorties add pretty much 0 power over stock.

Really? I've heard differently. Any proof to back that up?

Shorties sound better, and will give you some mid range. I didnt notice any power change until i had my tune adjusted, then i felt a change

They sound deeper for sure. Long tubes sound raspy and groose imo

Short headers, by design, only add power at peak, or very high RPM. The stock units on these cars are already very good, minimizing any gains from short tube headers.

Long tube headers make much more torque over a broader band building to a better peak with collector design, managing pulses, and aiding in scavenging.

I havnt seen many dyno charts on the 3.7 that back up that. The long tubes seem to only make a few more.hp, and very similar tq to the shorties. Atleast on a bolt on car. Maybe on a supercharger or nitrous car they get you more. But, ive never seen big gains from long tunes on the 3.7 compared to the shorties. And....they sound like crap on the 3.7 lol.

dev1360 have you seen the stock headers on the 3.7? If so I doubt you would say they are already very good.

Didn't realize I was in the 3.7 section. That's what I get for using the "new posts" function lol

Shorties may gain a bit over the stock manifolds, but the same principles of the effects of tube length on power still apply.

Here's another option for you which makes great power at thew fraction of the cost of headers.

Our offroad legs or offroad h pipe resonator delete kit gained us 12rwhp and over 20ft lbs of TQ on the stock tune.
