OK, so I got real excited to find that Ford Racing makes hood struts for the Mustang. I was actually really surprised to see an old fashioned hood prop under the hood when it was stock. So my 2nd mod (after the exhaust, which was first) was the hood struts. It was much easier working on the intake without that stupid bar in the way, lol. Anyhow... if anyone gets hood struts, do yourself a favor and compress them with your body weight against the floor several times before you install them. If you don't do that, they may seem "locked" in the fully open position until you do. I assume it's because they sat fully expanded on a shelf somewhere for a while.

The 3rd mod was the Livernois Windstorm Intake... which I believe is quite possibly a rebranded Airaid intake, but well done (as always.) Sounds awesome. Definitely hearing more of the turbo!

Anyhow, pics, for those interested:

Looks good! Though I think the hood struts need to swap sides so you can read the "Ford Performance"

I did the same thing too when I installed mine.

You'll have to follow-up once it gets tuned.
