They are excellent on daily drivers. We have thousands upon thousands of customers running linear springs on daily drivers, on anything form 1964 GM Muscle cars to 2016 Mustang GT's.
Keep in mind, 2005-Current Mustangs come standard from the factory with Linear Rate springs.
I can confidently say that I think our Linear SP080 Lowering Springs are the best riding lowering springs available for the S550 Mustang.
I was just looking at your handling springs. how do your spring rates compare to steeda linear and what is the drop? do they work well with stock pp struts/ shocks
I developed these to work best with a quality aftermarket damper - but I have many customers already using them on the PP dampers, and the FRPP Track Damper Kit - and they say they love them.
To be honest, I spec'd them for the Koni's. As soon as the Koni dampers are available, they (SP083) will be the best off the shelf parts for a street/track/handling S550 - I am firm on that.
I'm also thinking about lowering for a daily driver but I've been told about shocks messing up about cambers no idea what that is and I'm unsure about what that will do or if I should even worry about it BMR Tech
I went with the performance springs on my car with the base dampners and the ride is great. They got rid of a lot of the brake dive and acceleration squat the non-pp springs had and got rid of the front wheel to fender gap that just looks weird in my opinion.
I believe Kelly designed the performance springs to match the PP spring rates with drop.
they are amazing please FORGET progressive springs and get some BMR or Steeda Linear and call it a day. go read my suspension thread it will give you a lot of info to digest.
ordered handling springs. do I need camber bolts? is it a must and can I reuse factory hardware? I have seen nut and bolt kits... also do I need adjustable lowers or anything?
